As a working artist, I’ve never been able to find the “Perfect” sketchbook—a sketchbook that stays open flat, has thick paper to write and draw on both sides and can handle pencil, colored pencil, ink and alcohol based markers like an absolute champion. Oh yeah…one more thing, I needed to be able to rip out my really bad drawings (OR my really awesome drawings) without destroying my sketchbook. Considering I couldn’t find something like that on the shelf at the art store…

…I decided to make it. Introducing The Super Awesome Sketchbook.

The details: 8x10 inches, 64 pages, wire-o binding to lay perfectly flat with 100lb smooth (but not too smooth) interior paper and a heavyweight front and back cover to keep all your ideas, notes, doodles and commissions safe.

Your mileage may vary but I think this is nearly perfect.
